DOUG AND JACKIE CHRISTIE'S “INFINITE LOVE FOUNDATION” GRANTS THE NEEDS OF A SEATTLE GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM.
Infinite Love Foundation provides new uniforms and shoes to “Lady Style”
The Infinite Love Foundation, founded by NBA Star Doug Christie and wife Jackie, recently chose the first recipient of the newly developed needs-based charity program.
Brought to the attention of the Christies by one of Doug's former high school coaches was the fact that the Seattle Rotary Boys and Girls club's “Lady Style” AAU team was in need of new uniforms and shoes. Having been on the boy's AAU team when he was young, Doug recalled their needs and knows how extremely hard they work. The Christies knew instantly that this group of girls deserved the new uniforms and shoes.
In early April, the girls on this select team were the proud recipients of new shorts, jerseys and Adidas basketball shoes. “Helping some of our local talent shine is a blessing for us,” remarked the Christies.
