Infinite Love Foundation Spreads Winter Warmth
As winter approaches and colder weather becomes inevitable, Doug and Jackie Christie donated clothing, coats and shoes to local area homeless shelters. In a city where it rains about 50% of the time with an average of 37 inches of rain a year, appropriate clothing for those in need is welcome.
Seattle is home to just over 560,000 people of which 8,000 are homeless. Recognized in a report released in 2004 by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, Seattle is recognized as one of seven cities in the United States that are leading the way toward reducing chronic homelessness.
The Infinite Love Foundation is proud to have been able to donate clothing to three local area homeless shelters through the use of their street side clothing donation trailers. The items will be dispersed to the people in greatest need.
“We are happy they will be warm for the holidays!” said the Christies.
