Infinite Love Foundation Battles Homelessness, One Teen at a Time

When people think of Seattle they tend to think of the rainy days, the popular sports teams, coffee and progressiveness. Yet in a city so full of life, art and beauty there is a serious problem that seemingly goes ignored and while the problem continues to grow, resources continue to disappear.

The problem? Homeless teens. Everyday in Seattle , there is a reported 850-1000 youths aged 18-24 living on the street vying for the services of agencies with limited and dwindling resources. After hearing such a story, Doug and Jackie Christie decided it was time they became involved.

Through the needs based program their “Infinite Love Foundation” supports, the Christies helped take one young lady off the street. The teen, who will remain nameless, was provided an apartment, furnishings, money and the opportunity to begin a new life. Eager to make it on her own, this fortunate teen will be entering the job market in the coming weeks.

“It's such a wonderful feeling to know you are making a difference in someone's life”, the Christies said, “We are very excited to give this young lady a fresh start.”
