Jackie

Jackie Christie, a Seattle, WA, native is a model, actress, fashion designer, author and mother of three,she heads the successful record label, Jean Rah Fya records. home to some of the hottest new talent in the business. The label's roster includes new teen sensation Chani as well as R&B heart throb Bobby Tinsley, and the dynamic teen singing group Small Change, to name a few.

Jackie having realized her passion for fashion at an early age would put on fashion shows with her siblings and make out fits out of linens a talented designer Jackie's natural beauty would take her into the world of modeling also at an early age and her signature runway walk would gain her standing ovations where ever she dawned the catwalk, as Jackie matured and married her husband of over a decade NBA star Doug Christie she would also become the second half of the most talked about sports couple in history, with her committed marriage to Doug, Jackie has not missed a beat in her mission to help people in all walks of life and has just added speaker to her already impressive resume, Jackie can be found raising her beautiful children two daughters and a son and taking care of her beloved mother Cora as well as being the best wife on earth to Doug on any given day. Their hit reality TV Show "Committed: The Christies" aired on BET J for two seasons.

 

Doug

Born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Doug understood the meaning of “hard work” at an early age. Having grown up in the Northwest, his parents working long hours, Doug became what is often referred to as a “latch key” kid. Enjoying his childhood, Doug developed a passion for soccer. Already an athletic child, it was when he was introduced to organized basketball that he realized this game would shape his life.

A student at Rainer Beach High School in Seattle, Doug focused on sharpening his skills as a basketball player. These skills afforded Doug the opportunity to attend college at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California where he caught the attention of NBA executives.

In 1992, the same year he met Jackie, he became the 17th pick in the NBA draft and was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics. Now, a 14 year NBA veteran, Doug has played for the LA Lakers, N.Y. Knicks, Toronto Raptors, Sacramento Kings, Orlando Magic, Dallas Mavericks and most recently, the LA Clippers. He continues to bring his professionalism and extensive skills and experience to the game of basketball.

 

The Christies

Today, Doug a 14-year NBA star/author and Jackie, a fashion guru/ author the “dynamic duo” have created several arms of their continuously growing empire. As a team, they operate Jackie Christie.com in addition to their film production company, Infinite Love Productions which co-produced “The Christie's Committed”, their reality-based show that aired nationwide on BET J.

“The Christie's-Uncut”, their satirical comedy DVD which was screened in July 2007 at the Hollywood Black Film Festival and their most recent accomplishment as authors of “No Ordinary Love” the first of many books to come out of their publishing company, Infinite Love Publishing.
